Fluffy is a gentle heifer with a white fluffy coat! She’s at the right age now to be bred so hopefully we’ll have a Fluffy Jr. in a few months!

This little cutie joined us earlier in the year and this is a photo taken when she was just a few weeks old.

The vibrant colors of fall are coming to an end as the winds pick up, carrying the leaves away, and the cold moves in from the North. September and October are our favorite months up at the farm. There’s nothing quite like the crisp clean air, wide open spaces and beautiful country scenery. The cows are all getting their fluffy winter coats and we’re preparing for several new arrivals in the next few months.

We’re looking forward to the time when we can invite small groups to tour the farm and share in the experience!

Name: Crazy Jacks

We named her Crazy Jacks because she looks a bit like a donkey and gets a crazy look in her eye when she’s excited. She’s a bit googly-eyed but she’s a good heifer.

Name: Weezy

Weezy gets her name from her hoarse “moo”. She sounds like an old lady but she’s very mischievous and tries to make a bee line for the grain bin whenever possible. She’s a lovable cow but if you get too close, be prepared to find out what a “cow lick” is first hand!

Name: Snoopy

Origin: Daughter of Panda (deceased)

Panda had a very difficult time birthing Snoopy and sadly died a few days later. It’s been left to us to shower Snoopy with lots of love and she’s definitely a favorite on the farm. We call her Snoopy because of her long droopy ears.

We’ve had another new addition to the farm. This morning Gidget gave birth to a healthy heifer (girl) calf. She was born out in the pasture during the overnight.
